OCEANS PRESERVATION DAY -MORNING

As the world's second-largest maritime area, France will host the Third United Nations Ocean Conference (UNOC) in Nice in June 2025. 2025 is also officially the "Year of the Sea." Based in Biarritz, a city bordering the Atlantic Ocean, the Biarritz Film Festival – NOUVELLES VAGUES is committed to supporting this initiative through: collaboration and promotion of a committed NGO, a call for dedicated mini-films, a film screening, and discussions with environmental specialists. Protecting the ocean means protecting the future of younger generations. The festival thus aims to contribute to raising public awareness.
