VOICE, ACTING AND LANGUAGES IN THE AGE OF AI: WHICH VOICES, WHOSE RIGHTS, WHICH TERRITORIES
Voice acting and dubbing are currently undergoing a profound transformation.
As artificial intelligence reshapes voice-related professions, new questions arise: Who owns a voice? What does it convey beyond words? And what becomes of performance, translation, and cultural transmission in the face of emerging technologies?
Through this public discussion, actors, dubbing professionals, and regional stakeholders will share their perspectives on the major changes aff ecting the industry today: artifi cial intelligence, voice protection, performance, minority languages, and cultural transmission.
The conversation will also highlight initiatives developed around dubbing in Euskara (Basque) and explore the challenges of linguistic transmission in the Basque Country.

From M to Lost Highway, this conversation explores how cinema reveals our deepest fears and why certain images stay with us forever.

Making the transition from short film to feature filmmaking is often a decisive step in a director’s career.
Through this masterclass, speakers from different backgrounds — including directors, producers, and fi lm industry professionals — will share their experiences, working methods, and the challenges they encountered during this transition.
Designed as a space for dialogue and knowledge-sharing, this session will provide insight into the artistic, economic, and human realities involved in developing a first feature film.
