The Biarritz Film Festival – NOUVELLES VAGUES is delighted to welcome Rami Malek and to present him with an Honorary Award on Friday, June 26, during the Gala Evening at 7:30 PM at the Gare du Midi.

Academy Award-winning actor Rami Malek is renowned for his emotionally nuanced performances and his affinity for portraying complex, singular and unconventional characters. He first gained international recognition as Elliot Alderson in Mr. Robot, a role that earned him an Emmy Award, before winning the Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for his portrayal of Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody.

His career spans acclaimed independent films, major studio productions and critically praised television series, including The Pacific, No Time to Die, Oppenheimer and The Amateur. Rami Malek is also an ambassador for the International Rescue Committee, supporting refugees and displaced communities around the world.
