Kristen Stewart received an Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Princess Diana in Pablo Larraín’s Spencer. She won 22 critics’ awards for her performance, along with nominations for Best Actress at the Critics’ Choice Awards and the Golden Globe Awards.

In 2015, she became the first American actress to win a César Award for Best Supporting Actressfor her role in Olivier Assayas’s Clouds of Sils Maria. She received several other honors for this film, including Best Supporting Actress awards from the New York Film Critics Circle, the Boston Society of Film Critics, the Boston Online Film Critics Association, and the National Society of Film Critics.  

Stewart recently made her directorial debut with The Chronology of Water, which premiered in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and earned her a nomination for the Caméra d’Or. She also stars in Love Lies Bleeding, directed by Rose Glass, which premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.  

Kristen Stewart first gained widespread recognition in 2002 for her gripping performance in PanicRoom alongside Jodie Foster. Her rise to fame accelerated when she portrayed Bella Swan in the blockbuster Twilight franchise.
