Casablanca, 1997. With final exams on the horizon, Rita and her friends from Morocco’s privileged youth are living life to the fullest. They flirt, party, and study, paying little heed to the rules and taboos of their Muslim society. A defining coming-of-age film and true cultural phenomenon, Marock captures the spirit of a generation embracing freedom, far from clichés and conventions.
