Paris, Place des Fêtes – a working-class neighborhood in the 19th arrondissement. Shaï and Djeneba, both 19, have been inseparable since childhood. One feels stifled by a suffocating family, the other weighed down by crushing solitude. Over the course of a summer, they work as counselors at a holiday camp, far from the high-rises where they grew up…
The new film by the directors of The Worst Ones – Grand Prix winner in Un Certain Regard at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival – featuring rising star Mallory Wanecque (Beating Hearts).
