Like every summer, Hugo returns to the small family house on an Atlantic island for the holidays. But this year feels different – his body has changed, and he’s brought along his girlfriend, Queen.
With richly drawn, sensitively portrayed characters (including Félix Lefebvre, breakout star of Ozon’s Summer of 85), the film captures the twilight of adolescence with sharp insight. It also asks an age-old question in a very contemporary way: can real love survive class differences among today’s youth?
