In the Basque Country, during the summer of 1977, 16-year-old Bea joins the feminist movement that the country is experiencing. As she fights for abortion rights, her meeting with Miren, a young woman hailing from an affluent family, will be a life-changing experience in her life this summer.
Silvia Munt’s In Company of Women is a beautiful historic recreation of 1970s Basque Country. Kudos to Alicia Falcó who is stunning as Bea, a young activist in love.
