CINE BANLIEUE DAKAR is a collective of filmmakers, artists and film lovers. It has seen generations of iconic African filmmakers pass through its doors and most of the Senegalese film scene is comprised of its alumni. This free, non-profit collective operates as a film club and introduces young people to the film professions free of charge: introduction to the language of film, scriptwriting, framing, editing, sound and filmmaking.
