In a Canadian suburb, in 2002, 17-year-old Lawrence, a film buff and a social misfit, dreams of joining an exclusive school in New York. To pay for tuition, he works in a video club under the supervision of a 30-year-old former aspiring actress. Chandler Levack goes back in time as if she were rewinding a VHS tape and embarks us on a moving, straightforward comedy that combines humor and existential anxiety thanks to sharp dialogue and stellar performances from the cast.
