Céline is expecting her first child. But she isn’t the one who’s pregnant. In three months, her wife Nadia will give birth to their daughter. As Céline navigates the expectations of friends, family, and the law, she searches for her place – and for the recognition of her role as a parent.
Both tender and sharp, Love Letters rejuvenates the rom-com genre, reframing it through the lens of today’s society. Following her César win for Best Short Film, Alice Douard delivers a debut feature that’s as joyful as it is socially resonant.
