1916. Première guerre mondiale. Front belge. Pierre vient de rejoindre les troupes, impatient de faire ses preuves. Derrière les lignes, dans l’équipe de ravitaillement en vivres et en matériel, Francis organise des spectacles pour maintenir le moral des soldats. Alors que les combats font rage, chacun tente d’échapper à la brutalité de la guerre, ne serait-ce qu’un instant.

Lukas Dhont
Lukas Dhont, born in Ghent, graduated from the KASK Conservatorium. After gaining recognition with his short films Corps Perdu and L’Infini, he developed his debut feature, Girl, at the Cinéfondation Residence in 2016. Premiering in Un Certain Regard at Cannes in 2018, the film won the Caméra d’Or. His work explores dance, transformation, and identity. Lukas Dhont is currently working on his second feature film.
