1916. Première guerre mondiale. Front belge. Pierre vient de rejoindre les troupes, impatient de faire ses preuves. Derrière les lignes, dans l’équipe de ravitaillement en vivres et en matériel, Francis organise des spectacles pour maintenir le moral des soldats. Alors que les combats font rage, chacun tente d’échapper à la brutalité de la guerre, ne serait-ce qu’un instant.

Lukas Dhont
Lukas’ debut film, Girl, was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, in the official ‘Un Certain Regard’ selection, and was awarded the Caméra d’Or. His second film, Close, was selected for the official competition and won the Grand Prix. Furthermore, Close was nominated for an Academy Award in the ‘Best International Feature Film’ category in 2023. His third film, Coward, had its world premiere in 2026 at the 79thedition of the Cannes International Film Festival. The two main actors were presented the award for best male actor.
