In 2026, Nouvelles Vagues opens up to short films!

Registration is open from January 16 to April 16, 2026.

The Festival’s International Short Film Competition is open to:

·      Films with a running time of under 20 minutes

·      Directed by filmmakers under the age of 35 as of June 2025
