Thierry Lacaze

Thierry Lacaze, joined StudioCanal as Director of Theatrical, Video and VOD Distribution in 2017. He was previously Distribution Director at Wild Bunch, Marketing Director at Pathé Distribution, Project Manager at Fox Searchlight and Twentieth Century Fox, and Sales Director at Cinevia Films. He started out as a programmer at Polygram Films in 1996 after graduating with a degree in Economics.

Élise Mignot

Since 2019, Élise Mignot has been Director-Programmer of the Café des images in Hérouville-Saint-Clair (Normandy), with an eye open to other horizons. From 2005 to 2016, Élise Mignot worked in the French cultural network in India, Yemen, Indonesia, Vietnam and Mauritius. There, she went on to manage Île Courts-Festival international du court métrage and the Archipel des cinémas project. All these experiences have made her aware of the strength of independent and the richness of the independent cinema ecosystem in Europe.
An innovative cinema, a sustainable restaurant, a third place for solidarity, the Café des images has been reinventing itself for over 40 years around unexpected projects that breathe deeply with the world and society around them. At the Café des images, Élise Mignot is developing an editorial line that aims to open up the screens of a genuine world cinema to all; at the heart of a cultural project that focuses on youth, plurality and cooperation. Plural, participatory and reflective experiments take place here to better imagine with residents and audiences the future of the territory as well as that of its inhabitants.
