Two young Swedish women, Laura and Alex, set off on a couchsurfing adventure across Europe. When Laura wakes up naked after sleeping with a stranger, she has no memory of what happened.
Fanny Ovesen’s debut feature is a coming-of-age story that portrays its heroines with striking realism and nuance. Avoiding easy answers or didacticism, the director carefully unfolds the emotional journey of a young woman who won’t be victimized and refuses the powerlessness that comes with it.
