1916. World War I. The Belgian front. Pierre has just joined the troops, eager to prove himself. Behind the lines, in the food and equipment supply unit, Francis organizes performances to keep the soldiers’ moraleup. As the fighting rages on, each man tries to escape the brutality of war, if only for a moment.

Lukas Dhont
Lukas Dhont, né à Gand, est diplômé du KASK Conservatorium. Révélé par ses courts métrages Corps Perdu et L’Infini, il développe son premier long métrage, Girl, à la Résidence de la Cinéfondation en 2016. Présenté à Cannes en 2018 (Un Certain Regard), le film remporte la Caméra d’or. Son cinéma explore la danse, la transformation et l’identité. Lukas Dhont travaille actuellement sur son deuxième long-métrage.
